Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64 bit octa core processor specification
QualComm has entered the Octa core processor category with its Snapdragon 615 (MSM8936) 64 bit octa core processor. The design is based on the combination of 2 quad core processors, ARM Cortex A53 (Quad 1.8 GHz + Quad 1.0 GHz). The higher clocked cores will be used for heavy resource intensive task and the lower clocked cores will be used for normal task and will help to minimize battery consumption. Both the quad core CPU’s can be active at once. It has LTE modem inbuilt and is capable of 64 bit multicore processing.
For the GPU.it has Adreno 405 which is quite powerfull and has support for Quad High Definition (2560×1600) displays. It also supports all the latest mobile graphics APIs. Check the below table for full specification.
